This is such a busy time of year. Oh wait, is there a time that isn’t busy? Here’s what we’ve been up to.

Random Updates

We have had a lot going on this month, but that has become par for the course really. It’s been busy, but it’s been good things.

My son as his class MC for graduation.

Yesterday my youngest son graduated from High School. But not just from High School. He graduated with an associates in arts, and an associates in science and a GPA of 4.6. He was the Master of Ceremonies at his graduation, so got to introduce/conduct the graduation. He has worked hard, and we are proud of his work ethic and his determination to reach his goals.

My oldest daughter and I started out the spring/summer market season last weekend with a local spring market at the elementary school. The day started out stressful as we always have problems hooking the computer and printer up. The printer doesn’t come with a cord, so we had been doing it wirelessly quite successfully through the winter. Well, everywhere but at the school. So I purchase a cord, but that didn’t seem to work either. But, with a bunch of online searching, and some downloading of new drivers, we got it working, hopefully from now on! It was not a hugely busy day, but we had pretty good business.

My parents arrived the day before the market, and will be here until June 1. We are so excited to have them here, especially this long as they usually only come for a few short days and there’s never enough time!

Talking to my son on p-day.

My son, who is serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, left the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah and arrived in his mission last week. He talked to us on his preparation day (p-day) and has already had some pretty cool experiences while serving. We are grateful he hit the ground running and he’s enjoying his time there so far.

The thing that is taking the most time to complete is the greenhouse, and especially the filming and editing. Last night I edited a short video for my channel about some of my most recent art. You can view that video here. I now need to get the editing done for the next phase of our greenhouse. Hopefully that will be done in the next couple of days, because we are moving on with the build.

There is always so much going on. But, in a lot of respects, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I don’t like not having things to do, goals to achieve, and progress to make.
