Yesterday one of my daughters and I flew from Anchorage, Alaska to Las Vegas, Nevada, and then met up with my parents and drove north to Cedar City, Utah. My sister is getting married this weekend. I am so excited for her and grateful I could come, and my daughter, who is a professional wedding photographer, is excited to take pictures!

I don’t mind traveling, in fact I find it kind of fun most of the time. But the recent plane crashes made this flight a little bit more nerve wracking. My daughter was extremely nervous, and while I didn’t start out that way, she made me a little nervous as well. But, all was well, and we made it down with nothing exciting to report, thank goodness! We arrived at my parents home at 3:00 am.

I have always been a night owl, so the late night didn’t bother me. But I was so tired by this afternoon and had to take a nap. I find it interesting that with all the sitting I did yesterday, along with the little bit of sleeping I did on the airplane, that I was so tired today. I’m not sure why that happens.

At any rate, I am now in Cedar City, and will be updating on our adventures and excitement while we are here. We just haven’t had any today as we are all recuperating! I’m glad we had a day to relax though. We should now be energized and ready to help wherever needed in the busyness of the next few days.
